zhaò - omen, million, million million, trillion

Due to lack of inspiration, I think I have a week of words that have 兆 as the non-radical (pronunciation) part of the 汉字. I thought of such a group of 汉字 when I came across a couple of 汉字 that contained 兆. It turned out that those couple were most common and the other 汉字 with it are quite obscure. I was quite surprised to find that 兆 is actually pronounced zhaò, despite the fact that most of the 汉字 that use it are pronounced tao or tiao. I was also quite surprised to discover its meaning. I love a big number.

预兆 - yùzhaò - omen, prognosis
